Learning support in Welsh

Learners who receive the help of a Learning Support Assistant during their studies can have this support from a Welsh speaker in they wish.

This may be particularly helpful if the learner is transitioning to college from a Welsh-medium school.

Receiving communications in Welsh

Every learner, and their parents or guardians, have the choice to receive individual communication from college in Welsh, English or both languages.

The college should record your language choice when you enrol.

To change your language choice for communications please contact the Pastoral team.

Your language rights

As a student in a further education college in Wales, you have a right to Welsh language services as set out in the Welsh Language Standards under the Welsh Language Measure (Wales) 2011.

The college welcomes its duties to comply with this legislation and you can read our Welsh Language Policy and Use of Welsh Internally Policy on this website.
