Host families required for a successful Swiss programme at St David’s Catholic College.
As many of you will be aware, St David’s Catholic College began welcoming groups of Swiss students into Year 12 for one academic year from September 2021.
The programme has been heralded as a great success for the college and the local community. We look forward to this programme continuing for many years.
For the programme to be a success, caring local host families with access to St David’s Catholic College and a spare bedroom available from September until late June are required.
What you need to provide:
- A caring and supportive environment for the forthcoming academic year – all types of families are considered. Students will be matched to the most appropriate family.
- A bedroom for the student and a study area away from distractions (if not in the bedroom).
- All meals except lunches on college days.
- Students return home for the Christmas and Easter breaks, plus cover can be arranged for other short family breaks giving you flexibility during the year.
You will receive:
- A generous remuneration and,
- Support throughout the year from Barnes Host Families who will manage the host families and students outside of college, helping to ensure you have a positive experience.
