Two former Drama and Performing Arts students are currently gracing UK TV screens, in major TV shows.

Che Francis is currently playing one of the 3 Fates in the new Netflix show ‘Kaos’, starring Jeff Goldblum. ‘Kaos’ is a darkly comedic and contemporary reimagining of Greek mythology, exploring themes of gender politics, power and life in the underworld.

David Fynn is currently playing the landlord in BBC comedy series ‘Daddy Issues’. Starring alongside David Morrisey and Aimee Lou Wood, ‘Daddy Issues’ starts off with a free-spirited Gemma discovering she is pregnant, and while flat sharing with her hapless Dad, both have to work out ‘parenting’.

Che is now based in London and graduated from LAMDA in 2017. Previously they also trained as a dancer, specialising in Ballet and Contemporary.

Che began their career in the stage music Toxic Avenger (2017) on the West End and has since moved into TV and Film. Upcoming projects include ‘Never, Never, Never’, a modern Welsh love story, expected to be released in 2025.

David has had a career across the UK and America and has worked with some of acting biggest names, across his impressive career to date. David played a role in Black Mirror alongside Danial Kaluuya, in The Mauritanian alongside Jodie Foster, and in the ITV drama  ‘The Pembrokeshire Murders’ alongside Luke Evans. David also became a popular figure as Dewey Finn on stage in ‘School of Rock’.

In recent years, David returned to St David’s to speak with students about the realities of pursuing acting as a career. David gave real, honest and practical advice to performing arts students about the importance of health and fitness when doing a run if shows on stage, the importance of being professional and reliable on set, and how to work with other actors to get the best out of your co-stars as well as yourself.

You can watch Kaos now on Netflix, and Daddy Issues on BBC iPlayer.
