Accessing Your Timetable

You will be able to access your exam timetable through CEDAR. Please ensure that you check this regularly, as timetables will continue to be updated throughout March and April, including information about exam rooms and seating arrangements.

If you see “Supervision” on your timetable, please make sure that you are checking your college emails regularly for further information about the arrangements.

Exams will begin at 09:30 for the morning session and 13:30 (1:30pm) for the afternoon session. To help your day run smoothly, please arrive at least 20 minutes before the start time so you have time to find your seat and settle in before the exam begins.

Arriving late to an exam can be disruptive to other students, so please ensure you allow enough time to arrive and be ready to start on time.

Wellbeing

Exam season can be a very demanding time and may feel overwhelming at times. It is therefore important to look after yourself and make your wellbeing a priority during this period.

There are a number of ways you can support your wellbeing, including:

Prioritising Sleep: Getting enough sleep is essential, particularly during exam season when you need to be performing at your best. Aim for around 7–9 hours of sleep each night to help maintain focus, concentration, and overall wellbeing.

Eating Well and Staying Hydrated: Maintaining a balanced diet and drinking plenty of water will help keep your energy levels up and support your concentration while revising and sitting exams.

Exercising: Staying active is always important, but it can be especially beneficial during exam season. Regular exercise supports both physical and mental wellbeing, helping to reduce stress, improve focus, and maintain a positive mindset.

Taking Breaks: While revision is important, it is equally important to avoid burnout. Taking regular breaks when studying can help you stay focused and make your revision more effective.

Socialising: Although exams and revision may take up much of your time, it is still important to spend time with friends and family. Making time for this can help you relax, stay positive, and maintain balance during the exam period.

Reaching Out: Looking after your wellbeing is always important, and this remains true during exam season. If you are feeling stressed, worried, or anxious, or if you simply need someone to talk to, support is available. You are encouraged to speak with your pastoral tutor, a teacher, or a member of the wellbeing team.
