St David’s Rugby Academy is thrilled to announce a series of exciting new developments, thanks to the generous support of our sponsors. To prepare for the upcoming season, we are equipping our team with everything needed to train and perform at their best.
St David’s Rugby Kit for Maggie’s Cancer Charity
Thank you to Evans Electrical, Aerfin, Fizz N Flour Pizzeria, Ricoh, Office Visions, and Dudden Law Solicitors. Their support has secured us top-quality kits, ensuring our players look the part and feel confident on the field. Our players will represent our college with a stylish purple home kit and a yellow away kit.
A special kit was created for purchase to support Maggie’s Cancer Charity. 50% of these profits went to Maggie’s and the other half supported the development of the St David’s Rugby Team.

RPA Group, Castell Howell, Teacher Active, and Dudden Law Solicitors have been instrumental in upgrading our training facilities. With their support, we’ve invested in new, professional-standard equipment, enhancing our rugby training sessions and overall player development.
Business Teacher, Mr Hopkins, who has been establishing connections with these sponsors, noted:
“All of our suppliers and sponsors (except one) are from or based in Cardiff. Also, we have arranged for a local coffee shop to set up at our games next year. So, there is an added benefit to the local economy. Evans Electrical have also offered our students an opportunity to apply for apprenticeships. Dudden Law Solicitors came in during the careers fair to speak to our students about careers in law.”

We are excited to announce our partnership with Nutrivend, which will introduce a nutritionist for the upcoming season. This initiative will help educate our learners on the importance of proper nutritional dieting and its capabilities for enhancing their performance both on and off the field.
Additionally, we want to recognise Dave’s Gym in Roath for its crucial role in our progress, as they have assisted us in acquiring top-of-the-line fitness equipment.
Our program and infrastructure are developing rapidly, and we look forward to seeing their first game and evaluating the team’s performance. However, with such a strong foundation, we are confident that St David’s Rugby Academy is well prepared for its first season.
