The aim is to encourage learners to participate in extra-curricular activities to boost their UCAS, apprenticeship, and employment prospects.

Nyamh, who aspires to work within the TV and film industry, has joined a casting agency. Providing her with a secured role in the Welsh-based Amazon series Paris Has Fallen. Meanwhile, Patryk and Jamie are delving into media by creating a podcast that reviews the latest film and TV releases.

Alex showcased his musical talents by performing with his vocal ensemble Rhapsody at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. Alex sang “In My Father’s House” and “Bring Him Home from Les Misérables.”

Elliott is passionate about sports and has been coaching a youth football team. He delivered a structured session that helped him develop his leadership and communication skills. These are essential for coaching and future professional roles in sports.

Jim had ambitions for marketing and collaborated with the local Cardiff brand “Mére” to create a promotional video, gaining valuable hands-on experience in media production. Feven engaged in an online legal work experience programme with The Garden Chambers, attending weekly seminars led by top barrister Nicola Braganza KC.

Meanwhile, Aakif returned to competitive tennis by mentoring his younger sibling. Additionally, earning his Level 1 coaching badge and is now training for Level 2, demonstrating resilience and dedication.

These learners are inspiring examples who are willing to rise to the challenge of enhancing their UCAS, apprenticeship, and employment applications. We look forward to seeing them grow and thrive within our college community.
