
We are proud to announce that our esteemed colleague, Rose, was honoured with an invitation to the Buckingham Palace Education and Skills Garden Party on May 14, 2025. This prestigious event, hosted by King Charles III and Queen Camilla, celebrated the contributions of individuals dedicated to education across the United Kingdom. It was a remarkable occasion reflecting the crucial roles people like Rose play in education.
The Garden Party brought together approximately 7,000 guests from various educational fields, including teachers, administrators, and advocates for education reform. Attendees mingled amongst the beautifully arranged gardens and enjoyed refreshing beverages, all while conversing about the future of education.
Members of the Royal Family attended the Buckingham Palace event. This included the Princess Royal, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, and the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester. They expressed their appreciation for Rose’s and many others’ hard work and dedication to education.
Rose’s invitation is a testament to her long-standing commitment to St David’s College and its learners. As one of our longest-serving staff members, she has demonstrated an unwavering commitment and passion for our learners, leaving an indelible mark on this college. Her influence extends beyond the LRC, contributing to numerous initiatives elevating the quality of education at our college.
There is truly no one more deserving of this recognition than Rose.
