Learners will develop the fundamental research skills which underlie all creative digital media production, to gain a basic understanding of employment opportunities, job requirements, and working practices in the media sector, and to develop an understanding of how media products are constructed for specific audiences or markets. The optional units enable learners to build the technical skills and knowledge relevant to the media sector.
