Cambridge Masterclass Opportunity

This time next year, you will need to have made a decision about what you intend to do after studying at St David’s. For those of you wishing to apply to University, this may be an excellent opportunity for you.

Cambridge University are running masterclasses for the following subjects:

  • Archaeology
  • Asian and Middle Eastern Studies
  • Chemistry
  • English
  • Evolutionary Biology
  • Genetics and Biochemistry
  • History
  • History of Art
  • Land Economy
  • Law
  • Linguistics
  • Modern and Medieval Languages
  • Music
  • Physics
  • Politics and International Relations
  • Sociology

Each masterclass includes:

  • two taster lectures delivered by leading academic staff from the University;
  • the opportunity to discuss and ask questions; an introduction to the Cambridge admissions process;
  • the opportunity to hear about life as a Cambridge student from current undergraduates.

This programme is run independently of St David’s and you will be required to make your own way to and from Cambridge. There is a cost of £20 per Masterclass.
