Well done to all of the Chemistry students who actively participated in the experiments, showcasing their enthusiasm and skill toward the competition. Special congratulations go to Aaron Sam, Joshua Roy, and Iwan Rees for their outstanding performance, earning them the well-deserved first-place honours.
Among the fifteen ‘AS’ Chemistry students who travelled to Swansea University to participate in the Analyst competition, these learners were divided into teams of three. Each team was then challenged with the task of conducting two complex experiments, all while working under strict time constraints, testing both their knowledge and their ability to perform under pressure with speed and precision.
This was an extraordinary experience for our learners, providing them with the unique opportunity to conduct several experiments of a university standard. Engaging in these advanced practical activities will undoubtedly equip them with greater insight and understanding, helping our learners prepare for their upcoming exams and enhancing their overall academic proficiency.
Thank you to Swansea University for graciously inviting us into their state-of-the-art laboratories. This opportunity allowed our students to immerse themselves in the world of university-level Chemistry, gaining invaluable hands-on experience and insights that will undoubtedly enhance their academic journey and inspire their future scientific endeavours.
